Clawhammer and Bluegrass Banjo Lessons in South Devon

Meet your Teacher!

If you're interested in learning Clawhammer or Bluegrass style banjo in the Plymouth area then you're in the right place!

Harry has playing the guitar and five-string banjo for over ten years and in 2024 graduated with a first-class honours degree in music alongside receiving an award for live performance.

Through university Harry has been lucky enough to study the banjo extensively.  He also has extensive experience teaching locally in schools as well as performing at sessions and venues across Plymouth.

The banjo is a beautiful instrument with a vast and varied repertoire, whether it's; old-time, americana, folk, country or sea shanties, lessons will be tailored to suit whatever you would like to play.

Harry teaches from his home studio just outside of Plymouth, but is also happy to travel throughout South Devon and Cornwall.
